Some of us well remember first hearing punk poet John Cooper Clarke back in the 70’s. With his wild black hair, black suits and Manchester accent, he was immediately recognizable to those of us with an interest in the music scene of the day.
Now Dr John Cooper Clarke, he has been commissioned by the National Trust to write a poem for the nation in celebration of the coast and has already penned the first few verses. I wonder if any of it will make you think of our beautiful Sefton coastline?
